Andy, We're Gonna Miss You!
Andy Collee has completed over 500 marathons and ultras (watch his video). He raced in the first 12 Oak Mountain 50k races but wasn't able to join last year and won't be with us this year either. We are going to miss his presense but appreciate the message he left for all of us:
"I'm not sure I'll be up to doing Oak Mountain again by next year…however, I still consider it the best trail 50k in the SE and have recommended it to many friends. They all love it too. Thanks for so many great running memories and thanks for all you've done for ultra trail running and thanks to your wife and family and friends for their great support. Have a wonderful event and say hello to all my ultra friends!"
